Grand Opening

New Release

Happy Friday everyone!  I hope you had a great week.  Mine has been so busy:  I worked on getting my new store up and going, designing my next new kit, helping with the plans for Scraps N Pieces Grand Opening (October 1st - you should come by it's going to be so much fun!), Scrappin Survivor started this week, building up my Creative Team, made homemade vegetable beef soup, cleaning house, laundry, and raising Elizabeth.  Whew!    I am loving life!  Busy but happy. 

You football fans stay tuned.  South Carolina, Vandy and the generic kit are all coming.

Remember My News?

I am pleased to announce that I am opening a store!  It is going to be at Scraps N Pieces.  SNP is a new forum and the grand opening is going to be the first of October.  The forums and store are up and going.  It's exciting to be part of something brand new.  As a new designer I am pretty busy getting things going.  One of the things that I need to set up is a Creative Team.  Here are some details:

Requirements:

Create 1-2 layouts per kit (minimum 1 kit per month)

Post your layouts at Scraps N Pieces (SNP) and at least 2 other galleries.

Advertise my designs on your blog

Be active in the SNP forums

Participate in the CT forums at SNP

If Only I Knew Then What I Know Now

When I first started digi scrapping, I noticed little things on the kits I found.  PU, CU, S4H, S4O, CU4CU... I know what these things mean now.  When I started, I did not have a clue.  I felt foolish asking, to be honest.  Everyone else seemed to know what they meant.  I did some research and found out some of the easy ones quickly.  There are some obscure ones that took me months to understand.  Today I ran across this chart at the Scrappin Hens blog.  Oh what I would have done to have this chart back then.  I wanted to share in case anyone felt they way I did.  It has some great explainations.  Here is your link:

Kits, Flu and News

I hope everyone had a great Labor Day Weekend!

I was asked for a Mississippi kit.  Only they didn't specify which Mississippi.  So, I am simply going to make both.  I am in the middle of another kit that I am going to finish first.  (Not a freebie)  Then I'll get to them.  I just wanted you to know they are coming. 

I am slowed down a bit because I've come down with the flu or something.  I'm just now coming down with it:  achy, fever, stopped up head, sore throat.... you know how it goes.

I also have some news that I hope will interest you.  I'm going to keep it a surprise for now.  But it is coming soon.  I can't wait to tell you!
