Just Us September?
Just Us {September}? That can't be right! But it is. You may be wondering why on earth Wendy Tunison Designs is releasing a September kit in February so I'll tell you. It's because Wendy fell behind in her release schedule for the Just Us Series last year and she's playing catch up. LOL! She's still got to finish July and August and then all 12 months will be finished. So if she's a little out of season, that's why! September means back to school for most of us and this kit is chock full of everything you'll need to scrap those special moments. Filled with bold patterns and doodles, this kit is perfect for everyone from preschool through college graduation! It reminded Wendy of all of the notebooks she filled with doodles and the way we use to cover our books in grocery bags and then decorate them for each class. She'll never forget the way Andy doodled on her Geometry book when she was in high school with the words, "Gee I'm A Tree." LOL! With a fun handmade feel, this kit is so much fun to play with and I'm sure you'll have as much fun as I did with it! The previews are linked.
With 117 unique ellies, an alpha and 30 unique papers, this kit is full, but it's been a while since Wendy has had a chance to design a kit and she just couldn't stop! So there are a bundle of add ons too!
Of course, the best deal of all is the bundle that includes everything!
Take a look at the amazing layouts our CT created with this bundle...
Have a great day!

I'm not a blogger.
I can write. One of those silly Facebook polls told me that I should have been a writer. I don't usually enjoy writing. I can do it if I have to. That statement alone should tell you how I feel about it. Contrary to that, I don't mind journaling on my scrapbook pages. I have an untold number of pages that do not have a single picture but they certainly tell a story. I'm sure it is a mental block. It has a completely different feel when I scrap and write than when I WRITE. I think it's because when I'm journaling (what we'll call what I do for my scrapbook layouts) I am writing to my daughter. I'm telling her a story, or I'm talking to my grandchildren that I hope to have in 30 or so years. I want them to know what happened. I want them to know me. Who I was. What I enjoyed. Where I liked to go. When I became a mother. Why I preserved my memories for them. It makes it so much easier than writing to "who knows" on a blog post. Some people are excellent at it. They can write and write and write. I am not one of them. I start a post and look at it. I groan. I force myself to say what I came to say. I rush away as quickly as I can. I feel as if I've been forced to speak publicly. I would rather have surgery than give a speech. I'm not exaggerating that either.
So, it's not you, it's me. I want to reach out. I want to get to know the few of you who drop by to read my little space in the world. I want to share my life. I am just not a blogger. I'm okay with that. I hope you are too.
This was me attempting to reach out. If you would like to reach back, please connect on Facebook or the Scraps N Pieces forum. For some reason I can do better in both of those places.

Lovely Life Volume 1
I'm starting a new series. It's a series of mini kits entitled Lovely Life. Each volume will have a different color palette. They are specifically designed for weekly scrapping of everyday life. I asked those working on the P52 project at Scraps N Pieces what they wanted to see in a mini kit. They gave me tons of ideas and I'm trying to include them all. I'm not on any set schedule. Some months you might see 2 or 3 kits and other months simply 1. This month I have two. Here is the first release. It's on sale for 30% off through this weekend. You can pick it up here.
Here is some inspiration for you!
